Young People

Information for Young People

As part of Wiltshire's plan to support children and young people's mental health, we are making better use of digital services including the launch of a new website focussing on mental health.  On Your Mind will provide key links to local and national helping services, as well as a growing range of short articles on related issues.

You can visit the website here: www.onyourmind.org.uk

Talking to your GP

We understand that it can be difficult to talk to your GP about any mental health issues, so we will always aim to give you a longer than usual appointment for these discussions.  Just explain to whoever is booking your appointment for you, why you need to see your GP. All our staff are bound by strict patient confidentiality rules, so do not be worried about saying that you want a longer appointment to talk about a mental health issue.
